About
Ms Sudarshana Sinha Dasgupta
Clinical Psychologist registered
with the Rehabilitation Council of India.
My journey as a clinical psychologist began from 2017 after completing my M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from Ranchi. Since then, I've worked with gynaecologists, psychiatrists, teachers and neurologists to understand the mental health of different individuals across age, gender and professions and from a multi- disciplinary perspective.

Through these experiences, I've learned the importance of good mental health. In my approach , I make sure to abide by the essential ingredients of psychotherapy:
-
Active listening
-
Empathy
-
Unconditional Positive Regard .
Currently I am a Professional Member of the CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY SOCIETY OF INDIA (CPSI). I am also a recipient of the PC Chandra Award for Excellence for being an all-rounder student in the year 2011 at my alma mater Gokhale Memorial Girls’ College, Kolkata. I am also a rank holder in Psychology in the graduation examination of University of Calcutta in the year 2012.

When I'm not seeing clients, one can find me performing music, travelling, exploring different cuisines or couped up in a corner with a story book.
